South Florida has been a goal for some time now. We always thought LA would eventually be home away from NY but of course it’s just as expensive and more importantly, it’s way too far from our family and friends. This year has been challenging for sure but we’ve also seen many blessings, including our biggest blessing, baby Nirvana. I’ll tell you all what it’s like to have a baby, to relocate to a new state, work through and function during a global pandemic in a book I write years from now. Anyway, our beautiful baby girl was the primary reason for why we moved and why we moved so abruptly. Our one goal in life now, is to give her, Nirvana, the best life possible. We wanted warm weather, more space and of course more for our buck. We knew that we’d be getting double what we got in NY for less and fortunately for us we’d be making the same. ...
Omar: Our friends are an instrumental part of our lives. The people you see us with have been in our lives for decades. They mean more to us than anything. So every so often when all or some are available, we choose a WORTHY event to attend (because we are NOT pulling up to just anything) as a unit. Outside of traveling together, the typical brunch dates, the in house "Marley" sessions and basketball games, we got a chance to experience one of NYC's once in a lifetime exhibits, Louis Vuitton's Volez, Voguez, Voyagez (VVV) this past November. I had no idea that everyone in the New York City area was even remotely interested in the production and the origins of the brand (but there were hundreds of photos up and down my TL after we went) but then again NYC is the fashion capital of the world and no one passes up on a photo oppso...
