From Florida With Love

Image
South Florida has been a goal for some time now.    We    always thought LA would eventually be home away from NY but of course it’s just as expensive and more importantly, it’s way too far from our family and friends.     This year has been challenging for sure but we’ve also seen many blessings, including our biggest blessing, baby Nirvana.    I’ll tell you all what it’s like to have a baby, to relocate to a new state,    work through and function during a global pandemic in a book I write years from now.    Anyway, our beautiful baby girl was the primary reason for why we moved and why we moved so abruptly.    Our one goal in life now, is to give her, Nirvana, the best life possible.    We wanted warm weather, more space and of course more for our buck.     We knew that we’d be getting double what we got in NY for less and fortunately for us we’d be making the same.   ...

We've decorated our home with images that we've both captured from art ...

However, recently, I got this "30 Dates" idea from Ashlee Muhammad (@eyeconicash on Instagram), style curator of @haberdashernyc (Instagram), who also created what I believe she calls "30 Dates of Summer".  I thought it was inspiring to see a cool, young, married couple from NYC doing cool, young, married couple(s) things in NYC and abroad.   I see a lot us in them, so I decided to follow suit.  Honestly, I am not keeping count but I wanted to inspire other couples and even friends for that matter to get up and out.  I wanted to show that you don't necessarily have to blow all of your cash in order to enjoy and show your loved one(s) a great time.  So we continued to take random dates to art galleries, exhibits, plays, sports events etc. and documenting some.  Our most recent date was to The Future of Sports, which began in the DMV area and has finally made its ...
