Whitney Museum, NYC Andy Warhol From A To B And Back Again This was one of the best exhibits so far.  As it was an actual art exhibit with 2 full floors of art from Warhol with a few collaboration pieces with my favorite Basquiat as opposed to a random pop up art gallery that we all love for one reason...photos.  So, we were able to learn and really enjoy real art here. 

Another dope date night! I've been taking my wife on dates since we've met. However, recently, I got this "30 Dates" idea from Ashlee Muhammad (@eyeconicash on Instagram), style curator of @haberdashernyc (Instagram), who also created what I believe she calls "30 Dates of Summer".  I thought it was inspiring to see a cool, young, married couple from NYC doing cool, young, married couple(s) things in NYC and abroad.   I see a lot us in them, so I decided to follow suit.  Honestly, I am not keeping count but I wanted to inspire other couples and even friends for that matter to get up and out.  I wanted to show that you don't necessarily have to blow all of your cash in order to enjoy and show your loved one(s) a great time.  So we continued to take random dates to art galleries, exhibits, plays, sports events etc. and documenting some.  Our most recent date was to The Future of Sports, which began in the DMV area and has finally made its

Every September for Sam's birthday, since we've been together, we've taken a trip.  However, with the wedding approaching, we decided to stay home this year in order to save a little money.  My best friend/best man however, had other plans.  He recently had his first child and has moved into his new home in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.  He wanted us to come down and spend some time with him, his family and he also wanted to gift us with a trip as a wedding gift (the best gift in my opinion).  What better way to celebrate Sam's birthday than in sunny Florida amongst our loved ones.  We spent time at Fort Lauderdale Beach, Wyndwood Walls in Miami's Art District, we hit a few dope spots to eat, we hit some lounges and we even had time to do some shopping.  Although a short stay, we had an amazing time.  This trip was a nice break between planning and counting down to the wedding in Jamaica.  Much love to my best man Don for such a generous gift.  He

Sunday, August 5, 2018 Gillette Stadium, Foxborough, Mass. & Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum  (SAM) When the OTRII pandemonium began I was frantic like everyone else trying to get tickets to the MetLife show on 8/2/18.  The only other option to avoid paying $300/per ticket for whatever seat I could find was to consider going to a show in another state.  I had never really spent any memorable amount of time in Mass. besides maybe a couple basketball tournaments and Omar has never seen the Great Beyonce in action and I felt the need to make this happen.  Enter the Boston idea. I researched a bit to realize that the tickets were a good $40-60 cheaper at Gillette stadium and for a penny pincher like me, that was a solid amount to save.  My sister Mel, Loren and YaYa all decided to tag along as well and I figured we could make a day of it.  Looking through museums in Boston I came across one with this gorgeous courtyard and rich history.

So you know that feeling when you're watching the game and see the guy that gets to shoot his shot from half court for some amazing prize, and you think "I coulda made that shit". Well, on December 22, 2017 I had a chance to prove that iiii was worthy of the chance. Not only would I be able to shoot a half court shot in order to win a trip to Barbados, but I would shoot a lay-up, free throw, andddd half court shot each for a prize. Now the pressure was on because our good friend Lauren Roach who works for the Nets would advise me that I would be the first female in Nets Basketball history to attempt the feat, which is why she wanted me to do it. I had the experience (played ball for over 20 years) and the willingness to make a fool of myself if need be.
