VVV, NYC
Omar: Our friends are an instrumental part of our lives. The people you see us with have been in our lives for decades. They mean more to us than anything. So every so often when all or some are available, we choose a WORTHY event to attend (because we are NOT pulling up to just anything) as a unit. Outside of traveling together, the typical brunch dates, the in house "Marley" sessions and basketball games, we got a chance to experience one of NYC's once in a lifetime exhibits, Louis Vuitton's Volez, Voguez, Voyagez (VVV) this past November. I had no idea that everyone in the New York City area was even remotely interested in the production and the origins of the brand (but there were hundreds of photos up and down my TL after we went) but then again NYC is the fashion capital of the world and no one passes up on a photo oppso...
Sam: I often get deterred by "hypebeast" events because I do not like to just follow the trendy thing to do. But this was something I could not say no to. Our friends are more like extended family than anything else and we tend to get torn a new one if we do plan things like this without them. So I was very excited when Marv came out too. To experience this grand exhibit with gang will be etched in my memory forever.
